Ingwe Forest Adventures - Plettenberg Bay

  • Wedding Reception Venue

    • Ingwe is a unique venue and offers a spectacular forest setting for a rustic but comfortable wedding. 14kms East of Plettenberg Bay, on 200 hectares of land, Ingwe is easily accessible and designed to accommodate both small weddings and larger gatherings of up to 120 guests. A wrap around deck and covered veranda offer fantastic views of tranquil forest and nature - the perfect opportunity for photographs. A large boma provides an ideal setting for a group photo or a roaring bonfire. The adventurous can even have the ceremony in the indigenous forest! Various hire options are available and privacy is assured.

  • Accommodation

    • Forest Cottage is ideal as accommodation for the bridal party the night before the wedding offering 8 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchenette and a lounge. Further accommodation is available in dormitory style wooden cabins. A boma with plenty of seating can be used in the evenings for meals around the fire under the stars or as an outside meeting area during the day.

    • Ingwe is much more than just accommodation. Come find the Ingwe in yourself - Individuality, Naturalisation, Gratification, Wisdom, Endurance - through one of our programs. The Ingwe Journey obstacle course/ orienteering/ raft building/ survivor games/ various arts, crafts & other indoor activities/ hiking trails/ customised team building/ endurance trail/ field games. Programs are run by experienced facilitators and are tailor made to suit your needs.
